There's his first version and then more recent doodles of him

If it wasn't already obvious, he's the son of a rouge clone trooper just because I really wanted a character to have clone armour (Clones, my love)

But he would've been too old in the time period I've set Quasar in (about 8 years after the fall of the empire) and so, he's a son

That means he ages about 1.5 times faster than the average human

Leyc's short tempered, but very caring

I didn't have anything to draw on, but I still wanted to doodle Leyc bothering his fish boyfriend soaking in a bath

So I tried to draw on my phone, I think it's... Fine?

I like the thought that Wreck's the one who snaps Quasar out of his spiraling panic attack after Phoenix dies

In one hand I want to parallel park over him with a star destroyer, but in the other I love his design

It's impossible to draw Leyc traditionally, I don't have the necessary colours for his natural hair colour so now he just has short dyed hair

Oh he's so damn cool! I love that you can actually see his veins!

I really went crazy with the anatomy 🫡 I'll do a full body ref of him later

*I still need to draw the background, but shhhh

I've been trying to figure out what Quasar sounds like and Howl from Howl's moving castle is pretty damn close to what I've been imagining

And so fuck it, this is funny and Leyc's a pretty little boy in Sophie's dress

The perspective!! The use of texture and colour variation is what really stood out to me! I adore all of the subtle hue variation and the overall colour palette looks gorgeousss <3

the use of opacity on the translucent arms really translates so well and i looove how it makes them look! I really love the texture in your rendering too, along with the proportions and pose just mm.. sooo good.. so scrumptious

this pose EAAATS uurgh oh my goodness!!! I love the gloww and the rendering, one of my fav parts has to be the subtle rim light on the lekku, it really adds so much depth!

I really dig the silhouette take on the extra arms! I think it really adds so much texture and visual interest to the piece! ALSO!! the sun fitting in between her montrals is sooo good!!! I had been thinking about doing that in my original piece so we were so on the same wavelength there >:D
