I couldn’t help it honestly- I liked the Nightmaren designs @silverpsychedelic did for Nights and Reala so I kinda snatched some inspo from them-

(I fucking adore how they do Nights like Omg the white????- stop it You’re giving me ideas)

Now my intent for this character was that their gender is sorta like Nights-

like it’s left up for interp cuz yeah they look female but I gave them a Male voice-

why?

why not.

Idk I loved the idea of having a character that can be drawn as either gender based upon a persons liking/preference.

just- don’t destroy friendships over them okay?

But their name is Mira and they’re a Nightopian that inhabits the Ideya of Hope’s realm-

They are a physical manifestation of a child’s desires, wants, and wishes.

The skies the limit and any wish you have Mira can grant- but this is based on their willingness to grant said wish.

Since they act more so on the childish side and they choose to be difficult when given more- boring- wishes to grant.

To give you a basic idea on their personality here are some character inspos!:

Jack Frost (Rise of the Guardians)

Sun (FNAF SB)

The Collector (TOH) ((I’ve never watched the Owl House but the Collector is a goofy lil guy)

and Power (Chainsaw Man)

(And speaking of The Collector- Mira has the voice of the collector and I’m itching to make an animatic one day using the Collectors voice files as audio)

Their story is up in the air but I couldn’t help myself- and now I’m swooning over their design.

OH- and these were drawn on a collaborative drawing website me and my bestie use all the time- it’s called Magma.

(I plan on making a flushed out ref of Mira soon on my schools procreate tablet cuz there’s some details on Mira you can’t see so wait for that soon!)

this was an art commission requested to me by one of my BFFs irl for her little brother and since my Sonic phase is hot on my ass I’ve never been quicker to create a piece for her 🏃‍♀️💨

also I’ve been meaning to watch Sonic Prime because my inner 9 year old Simp loved Sonic so 👁️👁️

Hi hi it’s me again and I made this Wan Ji on my new phone! >:D

In all seriousness I’ve been meaning to draw Wan Ji for the longest time.

I’ve been following @journeytomonkiekid ‘s Eclipse Apprentice comic for over a year now and I love it so much.

she’s also become a big inspiration for me and it makes me want to make a comic too! (Which caused a fixation last year and WHEW BOY) I have other drawings and more on the way for this awesome artist and I HIGHLY SUGGEST checking out their comic!

the character I drew here is Wan Ji and ngl- I relate to her on a spiritual level- both in the gremlin-esc nature and complicated family life.

I loved the food I was given in Chapter 3 with the Macaque and Wan Ji content soooo-

that’s just more for me to draw!

This Wan Ji in her Chapter 3 outfit was my first drawing on my IPhones pocket Procreate and ngl- it’s so weird using a cheap stylus rather than the apple pen.

but be that as it may- Miss WishfulVixen you are a huge inspiration for me and I adore you and your works. And I am more than excited to see what becomes of Macaque and Wan Ji in the upcoming chapters of your comic. also remember to take care of yourself and get well soon since I saw that you weren’t feeling the best!🌸🌸💕
