He generally loves affection, but he’ll test the waters first before letting that show. He doesn’t want to express it in a way that you dislike. But generally, he will give a lot of compliments, offer gifts and, if given the opportunity, use physical touch as well.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Keith as a friend is a bit more laid back and doesn’t try as hard to be the epitome of perfection. But he is still often scared of doing or saying anything that might upset his friend and make them hate him. Becoming his friend usually means you need to win his trust first, otherwise he will try to keep you at a distance.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He loves cuddles! He’s more used to being the one holding the other person in his arms, but he has no issue with it being the other way around. He is always gentle and does his best to make sure the other is comfortable.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He does want to settle down. Being in a happy marriage is his dream come true. He’s quite organized, clean and a decent cook, so he’d make a pretty good husband.

Oh, he’d be over the moon. The very fact that you’ve decided to marry him would have him ecstatic for good amount of time. Though if you were to put off the wedding too much, he might start to feel insecure so it’s best not to make him wait more than a year.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Incredibly gentle. Unless you ask him to do otherwise, he’ll treat you like his most precious treasure. He’d be consumed by guilt if he ever did anything to hurt you.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Yeah, he likes them. How often he offers them depends on the person he’s meant to be hugging. Generally, he gives comfy and warm hugs.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He will wait for you to say it first.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

If possible, he gets rid of whatever created that jealousy :)

His kisses are generally soft, not super long but not quick pecks either. If you’re into it, he likes turning them into passionate ones. And his favorite place to kiss and be kissed are the lips.

He’s kind and caring. Really bad at scolding, can’t bring himself to raise his voice or be mean to a child to save his life.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

If it’s not a work morning, he’s going to sleep in and there isn’t much you can do to stop him. Pretty of hard to get him out of bed before 11 am. He’s happy to give you morning cuddles though. If you bring him breakfast in bed, he will worship the ground you walk on.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

He’s gonna try to get you to go to bed with him at a reasonable hour. Mostly because he rarely does that. Will want to have you close while you sleep, even if you aren’t fully in his arms (though that is preferred).

O = Open  (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say  everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It depends. Some things he can’t help but reveal early on depending on circumstances (like if you meet him at his flower shop, you WILL hear him ramble about plants at some point). He will wait a pretty long time to reveal any trait he dislikes about himself though. 

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

You usually have to hit a sensitive spot to make him angry. Or repeat a type of behavior that gradually brings him to a boiling point. Otherwise he’s a pretty calm person.

Q = Quizzes  (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little  detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He will remember as much as he possibly can. Some important things he will even write down, like your birthday, your favorite flower, things you like that he could give you as presents. But if he’s been around you for a while, he won’t need the notes.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He’s a hopeless romantic so of course it would be the moment you have your first kiss.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

VERY protective. He’d like to be able to protect you in all ways himself, but whenever he gets in that headspace, Tenebris usually jumps out. He’s rather you only ever protect him in situations in which he’s certain nothing bad will happen to you.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

As much effort as a human could possibly put into these types of things.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

As soon as something bad happens, he starts blaming himself and throwing around harsh words in his mind.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He’s always been told he’s pretty, but he still puts in effort to maintain or enhance that. He styles his hair, puts on concealer, takes care of his skin and picks out clothes that would look good on him.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Absolutely.

He secretly hopes soulmates are a thing that exists.

Very poor hygiene. It’s not gonna keep him away from you completely, but he will try to get you to fix it.

If he’s sleeping with someone else, he’ll either press himself against them or reach out with his arm or leg to touch them.

He’s not the type to show affection at the very start of the relationship, before you have. But as soon as you do, you’re gonna have a hard time getting him off of you.

He can seem like a bit of a jerk sometimes, since he likes teasing or mildly bullying people. But he will greatly treasure any friend and be ready to obliterate anything that harms them. Starting a friendship with him can be as simple as not treating him like dirt and maybe complimenting his shirt or something.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Cuddles all the way!! He cuddles by clinging to you like you’re the thing keeping him alive. Will smother you if you don’t say anything. Also likes laying on top of you if you’re both laying down.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Sure, he wouldn’t mind settling down. The very idea seems kind of impossible to him, he can’t imagine someone suggesting that to him. An absolute disaster at both cooking and keeping things tidy, but he WILL clean the house for you just to prevent bugs from infesting it. Just don’t ask him to operate something like a washing machine without giving him detailed instructions first.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Depends on why you’re breaking up. The method could vary from calling you an asshole that he doesn’t wanna see again to beating the shit out of you. But generally, you need to be an abusive bastard to either him or Keith for him to even consider breaking up.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He feels great about it, because he can’t believe you’re gonna commit to him of all people. And he doesn’t care how quickly you do it, he’s got a pretty long life ahead of him.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He tries to be gentle as much as he can, but his strength isn’t always easy to manage and he can be a bit of a jerk once he gets angry. But he’d never dare do more than accidentally hug you too hard and if he ever hurt your feelings, he would apologize a million times, verbally, written or by crawling at your feet.

He loves hugs, give him all the hugs. If you like hugs too, he will hug you every time he sees you and more. His hugs are kind of tight and kinda long, especially if he hasn’t seen you in a while.

He may not say it before you do. Though if he realizes he loves you before you say it, he might just blurt it out randomly.

Very jealous. Will cuss people out or start fights if you don’t keep him in check. While you’re around, that is. If you aren’t around, whoever made him jealous is as good as dead.

His kisses are unsure and clumsy, since he has no experience. He likes kissing you on the cheek because it’s simple and doesn’t have to be long. And he loves it when you kiss his forehead.

Generally can’t stand them. Thinks they’re dumb and annoying and they won’t shut up about him being blue. But he will immediately make friends with any kid that’s nice to him.

Pesters you to make him pancakes. If you don’t know how, forces Keith to make both of you pancakes. He doesn’t take too long to get out of bed because pancakes.

Uh. Pretty easily, but it depends. If it’s you and you’re the timid and well meaning type, he’ll have a lot more patience. Otherwise, as soon as he feels even mildly insulted, he’ll be fuming.

Absolutely everything and he will do it effortlessly too. He has a great memory.

⭒ Arranged marriage with Sylus where he prefers to call it a “strategic partnership” as a means of appearances to flaunt that he has it all—an empire, riches, strength, influence and now a darling wife who waits for him at home. You’re not so much as a random choice, Sylus had been watching you from afar for a while and in exchange for his protection in the N109 zone he strikes a deal with you to play a simple role. You have every reason to be wary of him and know to keep your wits about yourself, but even you acknowledge that your chances are better with him. Though, if you asked him how he was so certain you’d agree to his proposal he’d admit that he wasn’t but he knew you’d consider it if he had an advantage over you.

⭒ He sets his terms and conditions—you reside in his humble abode, wedding ring always worn on your finger, and attend events with him as a pretty accessory on his arm to contribute to his image. But he’ll never admit that he actually enjoys your company at business functions that often feel dull to him. You are more than welcome to spend your days as you please so long you don’t cause him trouble, and that also means you have his black card privileges to spoil yourself rotten. Of course, he accommodates most requests you may have like sleeping in separate rooms if that’s what you wish (and redecorating because his furnishing decisions are quite bleak).

⭒ Luke and Kieran can sense that their boss feels something for you despite his nonchalance toward this little arrangement. It starts off small, it always does—Sylus takes note of your morning and night routine, your picky eating habits and has the chef make adjustments to your preference, how he sees you out in the gardens and come back with spring tulips to brighten the space and the next week he already replaced the slowly withering flowers with fresh ones. The twins whisper among themselves that he’s often less annoyed and irritated when you’re around, and their boss wouldn’t go through the trouble of being considerate unless he cares for you. It’s almost exciting for them both to witness a budding romance unfold before their very eyes and they do offer a helping hand here and there to keep things interesting.

⭒ Sylus thinks it’s adorable how you keep trying to resist him and that’s precisely the reason he loves seeking you out just to watch your resolve crumble under his touch. He finds you in the kitchen preparing a snack and cages you from behind with his hands planted on either side of you against the counter. “Hey kitten, I thought I’d find you in here.” You feel his hot breath down your neck as he pushes your hair aside just enough to lay a soft kiss on your shoulder. He chuckles when you comment that he’s being awfully touchy with you, and he purposely moves closer so that his chest is pressing against your back. “Perhaps I just can’t keep my hands to myself where you’re involved. Besides, you’re my wife now. I think I have the right to touch you whenever I like.”

⭒ You remind him that you’re his wife in title only, but that doesn’t discourage his flirtation and teasing as he allows you to nudge past him. He follows you into the common area and takes a seat on the couch, spreading his legs wide and taking up a lot of space. His gaze is settled on you as he pats his thigh and his lips curl into a smirk. “Come here, wife.” You naturally scoff meanwhile you place the plate of seasonal fruits on the side table and situate yourself closest to the armrest, taking a bite into a juicy red strawberry as you ignore his piercing stare.

⭒ For someone who always gets what he wants, Sylus isn’t used to being defied like this. And had it been anyone else his patience would wear dangerously thin, but he supposes that you’re a special exception because he seems to enjoy the chase and claiming its reward. With one small gesture, he drags you across the couch by a gravitational pull and you squeal when the swirling red easily turn and maneuver you so you’re forced to straddle him and your hands prop on his shoulders for support. “There, much better. Comfy? This is the best seat in the house.” His gaze locks with yours, and he thinks you huffing and frowning at him is simply cute. He firmly grabs your wrist with the bitten strawberry in your hand and lifts it to his mouth for a sweet taste.

⭒ “No fair… using your Evol against me like this.” You grumble under your breath as you gently trail your thumb from his chin to the corner of his mouth where the strawberry juices began to spill. Then an impulsive thought takes over and you pinch his cheek between your fingers, creating a sticky mess on his face. “I hope you’re enjoying yourself. That’s for treating me like a sack of potatoes.” He chuckles once more, his hand falling on your hip and he gives you a light squeeze. “Oh, I do have every intention of fully enjoying my wife tonight.” And by that, he means taking you out for a joyride on his motorbike and feeling your arms wrapped around him tightly as the engine roars through the streets under the night sky and sinking moon. Sylus would never engage in any intimate acts you weren’t ready for, but he loves seeing you fluster at his suggestive remarks.

⭒ As the weeks cross over into months, you never imagined that you’d be spending so much time with Sylus outside of your agreed terms. He’s everywhere in every waking moment of your life even when he’s not there physically. You’re learning new things about him each day and you (begrudgingly) like being around him—even when he can sometimes be a playful bully toward you. When he’s gone for long stretches of time to deal with negotiations and other important matters in the N109 zone, you can feel your heart yearning for him but you’d never say that you miss him out loud when you think he's still toying with you. But with the way he cares for you like you’re both in a real and genuine relationship, it’s hard to know his true intentions and keep your feelings buried deep inside your chest for long.

⭒ You accidentally confirm that Sylus does harbor romantic feelings for you when you carelessly bring up your replacement in a lighthearted joke. You’ve never seen his face falter so quickly at your words as he averts his gaze for a moment to collect himself—a hint of vulnerability in his crimson hues. “I wouldn’t have found a new wife.” He shakes his head and tells you, his voice a little rougher than before. You don’t know what to say, but you manage a soft “No?” that reaches his ears. “No. I wouldn’t have been able to replace you, kitten. You’re it for me. The only one. No one could fill the void you’d leave behind.”

⭒ You and Sylus have kissed before, but this is the first time you’re initiating it. As you brush your lips against his, there’s a softness you never noticed. His hand slips around the small of your back and he pulls you close against him, returning your kiss with the same tenderness as though savoring the taste of you. You lean back after a moment, your palm meeting his cheek in a sweet embrace. “You know, I'm still getting used to the idea that I’ve fallen for you.” You can see him returning back to normal when he offers you a cocky smirk. “And yet here you are. In my arms, with your lips on mine. I think you’re not being entirely honest, my beautiful wife.” Sylus has waited a long time to hear those words from you but you don’t need to know that right now.
