Every building turns into an air defense system.
I noticed this strange bug when I started playing the game on my phone.
Lol, entry fields just disappear on Android:
Now text in entry fields will scroll if it doesn't fit. Also the selected entry field and its message will appear at the top of the screen on Android and IOS (i made this also on Windows to show it to you)
But initially i wanted to release my game on Google Play or Steam as well but it turned out that i can't create a dev account there because they doesn't accept bank cards from my country
Then i decided to create a buymeacoffee account but it turned out that all payment services that it uses are blocked for my country
And yes, itch.io also doesn't accept my card
So there's no way to get money for selling my game
This world is so fair 🥰
PS: of course, i can sell my game in rustore but i think no one uses it
I created the most of "wave" animation variants. Also decided to make them round
Perfectionist's paradise code
P.S. I deleted 2 empty rows in the 3rd file to make everything perfect
Added the bots section to the settings menu and the randomness factor option
If this option is selected, bots will choose a random cell when choosing between two identical ones (which one to build on or which one to attack). This makes games little more varied
Hi! It's been almost a month since i released War & Economy beta. During this time the game was downloaded only 3 times. This is less than the number of downloads during the month after the release of pre-beta 2.0. More likely this means that my game is uninteresting. And i agree with this.
I think the reason for this lies in the concept of the game. War & Economy is essentially a board game, like chess or Monopoly. It's interesting when you play it but there's no reason to play this game again. The game hasn't long term progression. It hasn't a plot or development. So it's almost a one-time game. One-time and uninteresting game. Which even I'm not interested in playing.
So i think i won't continue to develop War & Economy. I'm tired of it, and maybe you're too.
After i started playing Beholder (late october), i come up with a new concept for a game. A dystopia where the main character is a judge in a country where corruption and violence rule, in a country when almost daily appear new stupid and senseless laws making life even harder. And all this is seasoned with a ton of propaganda of war and hatred. I was also inspired by my country for this concept. Yes, sometimes quite often i feel like i live in a dystopia where even youtube is blocked.
But this concept is a hard to release. So i won't implement it anytime soon.
What will i post? Maybe content about my favorite games: Beholder and RimWorld, maybe something else, maybe nothing. You can write in comments what you would like to see in my blog. Maybe i'll listen to your opinion.
But for now bye...
Thank you! After reading i decided to use the 2nd method (1.0, 2.0, 3.0...)
Soon i'll start developing a new version but i don't know how to number versions
Often developers number game versions as 1.0, 1.1, 1.2... But the 1st digit ("1") never changes and i don't see the point in it. So i numbered the alpha versions as 1.0, 2.0, 3.0... And i can omit the 2nd digit ("0") because it didn't also change (i didn't release intermediate versions). But in this case versions will be numbered 1, 2, 3... and it will look like the 2nd part of the game.
So i decided to ask you:
Hi there!
I have 2 ideas that i want to release: save game function and bots
Initially i wanted to add first save game function and then bots. In this case i'll number versions as beta 1.0, beta 1.1 (or 2.0) (1st number will be changed if new game is unable to read save files created by the previous version).
But maybe i should add bots first to increase the number of players? But how to number game versions in this case? Beta 0.0, beta 1.0?.. beta 1.0, post-beta 1.0?.. beta, pre?.. difficult question
So i ask you:
I'll post the same poll on my discord server. At the end i'll post results of poll in discord here and add them up with results of this to get the final result.
After i released the last update i tried to play RimWorld. I liked it. Maybe it'll become my favorite game...
Now i'm playing through this game
I like it. This intricate game has gloomy vibes
It could be hard to play this game but it's worth it!
Trailer Music: Destiny by Alexandr Zhelanov https://www.youtube.com/c/AlexandrZhelanovsMusic
Irredeamable is my latest project, a semi-linear action-adventure game, where you control this little bundle of anger and angst in her quest to recover her lost powers and bring forth the end of the world.
The game has a heavy emphasis on combat, with a bit of platforming, and a whole lot of boss fights. There is also some mysterious lore to be uncovered by those willing to brave the world's deepest, darkest depths. My main goal with this account is to spread awareness of the game as i work on it. I'll post threads about the game content, characters, and world, with occasional distractions such as my unhinged game design thoughts and ideas. Don`t hesitate to share thoughts and engage, i love nothing more than to talk about writing and game design.
New logo for my studio
It contains all 3 of my favorite colors: neon yellow (ffff00), neon green/lime (00ff00) and neon blue/cyan (00ffff)
And yes my break from development is ending. What can i say? I played rimworld and watched youtube (both a lot).
