I think it's the fact that a lot of fans get into osomatsu san first, a show primarily focused on the sextuplets with little focus on /lack of interesting concepts explored through the side characters, and see no point/need in delving into the side characters. I feel like if more fans watched and had access to osomatsu kun they'd most likely feel a lot more endeared to the characters (although the difference in comedy, style and presentation in osokun may throw some people off).

it kinda makes me sad that even as the fandom is growing quieter here people still dont seem to like characters like dekapan or hatabo or even matsuzo. like ive seen people say "why watch the old stuff lol it isnt even about the sextuplets" and like... thats kinda the point. the point is you get to know eeeeveryone else bc the sextuplets are just the same kid times six. its just... sad to me. i really only see chibita drawn when its karabita, and forget ever seeing people draw dayon, dekapan, or hatabo. iyamis really the only character thats okay in terms of appreciation but... bleh idk i wish these other characters werent so horribly slept-on, both in the fandom AND the show (cuz lets face it they got ignored quite a bit even in the show/movies)

Putting my katakana skills+my few kanji skills+twitter screenshots to good use, I have found that the Hell Bikers Matsu are actually 6 of the 7 princes of Hell associated with the 7 deadly sins.

Osomatsu is Satan, associated with Wrath

Karamatsu is Beelzebub, associated with Gluttony

Choromatsu is Belphegor, associated with Sloth 

Ichimatsu is Leviathan, associated with Envy

Jyushimatsu is Mammon, associated with Greed

Todomatsu is Asmodeus, associated with Lust (that explains the outfit)

For now, we have no Lucifer, the demon of Pride, but I don’t know if the staff will make a character for it ? Oso’s profile seems to indicate a relation between him and “Lucifer”, but until I look more into it, I can’t say anything.

i wanted to compile as many outfits as i could find from some of our main characters to summarize what we know about their general fashion senses :] to make it easier to figure out what to draw them wearing. drawing from both the anime & official art- not the manga sorry, i don't have that saved & on-hand. ignoring official art where everyone's wearing something on theme (ie the ones where they all have hawaiian shirts, or suits, etc), and not putting school uniforms or pajamas in either.

i like mob's outfits a lot. the monkey shirt is so important, please note that the sleeves of the monkey shirt sleeves came pre-ripped, they're supposed to be like that.
