In 2011, Princess Beatrice wore an interesting fascinator at the wedding of The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, that caught the attention of the media. The headpiece was then auctioned for $115,072.24 (£81,000). The proceeds went to UNICEF & Children in Crisis Charities.

In 2012, Princess Beatrice also welcomed the Olympic Flame for the Summer Olympics. That same year, she climbed Mont Blac in aid of her charity Big Change.

The Tiara was made in 1932 to accommodate the Brooch of Queen Mary.

The Tiara is Bandeau shaped flexible band of eleven sections, featuring interlaced ovals and pavé diamonds along with large and small brilliant diamonds. The Center Stone of the tiara is a Brooch, which features ten diamonds. & The Brooch is still detachable today. The Tiara started out as a Brooch in 1893, but the tiara wasn’t created until 1932 (4 years before Queen Mary’s Death) to accommodate the Brooch. The Tiara is made out of diamonds & platinum. Like the Cartier Halo Tiara, Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau Tiara is of Art Deco Style.

The wonderful owner Joy has dedicated her Tumblr to the beautiful & inspiring Princess Diana & her 2 sons Prince William & Prince Harry. Joy posts the most beautiful pictures of the late Princess & scenes from interviews where the princes talk about their mother. A truly beautiful dedication.
