Just to prove that this hand looks like the one from the scene:
And yeah, I have no idea why I drew this. And ignore the arm from the hand.
These are my two OCs Yishu, Guardian of Creation (former Crea) and Edward, Guardian of Destruction (former Decay).
They are currently walking through Ed's dead forest.
I imagined te scene just like this in my head and just drew it. That was satisfying ... and I suck at backgrounds but for a full illustration this looks pretty good.
(I looooove how Yishu looks. She doesn't give a care in the world walking through a scary forest.)
After finishing the other one felt so great, I started another. This time, I'm drawing Kirishima. A current WIP:
Slash is soooooo cooool 🤩 Really had fun drawing that 😁

Honestly, it's been a while since I have drawn a sans after all that working on my AU. It feels great seeing how much you improve as an artist over time and how your style adapts to your current interests. This picture is like a "take all that you've learned so far and use it" and it turned out great 😀 (just got to admit that I got a little lazy with the background 😅)
Anyways, I had fun drawing that and I hope you like it 😁(I am also trying from now on to cross-post here and on my devianart, let's see how this will turn out)

I wanted to talk more about the coloring. I layered the colors in this way:
Base color - red
Shadows - dark red
Base color again (even over the shadows) - red
Shadows again - dark red
Alternate base color over everything - pinkish red
Darken shadows - black
I use the black to mute the color a little.
And now I am applying moderate pressure to get a more vibrant red. When coloring I also like to start with the most vibrant color to be able to match the other less vibrant colors to the apperance.
But in the end the order which part I color first doesn't matter that much.
Okay, I stopped working on the previous sketch since something about it was not right. I'm not sure what but it felt weird and I didn't like it.
Instead I moved on to the next one. Sadly, I forgot to make a picture of the sketch before slightly erasing but I wanted to show it nethertheless. So, here's Eijiro in his hero costume
Can't wait to line and color it 😀
And I found way too many redraws of screencaps of MHA.
... in fact so many, I need to split them in multiple posts.
Good news, now I'm at 2 min.
Bad news, I don't know how to continue.
Well, here I am again, telling myself to start small and then wanting to whip out a 3 min animation.
Some warm-up and trying to figure out how to draw Error. So, I made this little reference sheet for myself 😊 (there's also more stuff on it, but this is the most important part 😂)
I was also thinking: Okay, I need to think about when he reacts in a certain way to draw him. I could technically go and combine some emotions in a scene and make a little comic out of it. With that I would be able to train expressions AND train drawing comics 😁
(if you couldn't tell already, I like to set myself overambitious goals 😅)
AND what will be the most difficult, as I realize right now, I always tend to forget the glitches 😥 Need to keep that in mind...
added it 😁 and this is a typical case of: I'll just do a quick sketch... whops, my hand slipped 😂

but I don't know who. I need to train expressions and wanted to do the "25 Essential Expressions" challenge but I don't know who to draw. So I thought: Hey, this could be a cool idea to let somebody else decide!
Sooo, that's what I'll try:
