Peter, through the radio: on 3 cut the gray wire, ok? 1..2..
Tony: wait, I donāt have a gray wire! I have red, green and yellow.
Peter, scratching his head: thatās weird. I have light gray, medium gray, dark gray.
Tony: you do?
Peter: fuck. my bad, I forgot Iām colour blind.
Tony: youāre WHAT?
Peter: doesnāt matter, just cut the middle one.
Tony, slightly panicking: it DOES MATTER! My middle one could be different. The wires are all twisted!!
Peter: on 3..1..2..
Tony, overly panicked: PETER, STOP
Peter: *rolling his eyes*
Tony: wait, Iām coming to you.
Tony, running to him: point to the wire you want me to cut.
Peter, showing him: this gray one right here.
Tony, heavily breathing: okay, by the way, it green, kiddo.
Peter: ohh.. which one is red?
Tony: the one in your left hand.
Peter: wait, which one is that? Iām also dyslexic.
Tony: how. did I. not know. THAT
iām so appreciative to suzanne for reframing the rebellion from the original trilogy as a āthey saw their moment and took itā type situation and showing us that theyāve been trying, over and over, with so many failed attempts, to break the arena and incite a rebellion for decades. in this current political climate never giving up hope is so essential. haymitch wasnāt the first nor the last, and they kept going even when it seemed completely futile, and thatās what counts, and what ultimately saves them all.
girl who finally is going back to reading by finishing one book: now i'm going to read all the books in the world.
maybe the covey should stop naming their kids after doomed ballads. why not name them roxanne or rosemary. goddamn

i need a fic where nick fury is peterās uncle (not blood, obviously) and it has irondad so like peter is like āyeah i hung out with uncle nickā and tony is like āi didnt know u had another uncle than ben??ā and tony eventually realizes that hes talking about nick his-mother-calls-him-fury
i love giving peter random family figures
i was just thinking about how it wouldnt be terribly implausible for beeteeās unborn child to have died in finnickās games. sotr took place during the 50th games, which means by the 65th games, the kid wouldve been 14 or 15. you could say āoh, well, they wouldve been reaped as soon as they turned 12ā but like, not really. it would be much more devastating for beetee to have to wait to see if his baby is going to be reaped just like their older brother. beetee would expect it at 12 and 18 since those are the first and last years theyd be eligible, but 14/15 would be more unexpected (though im not saying beetee wouldnt expect it, just less so). imagine beetee seeing this 14-year-old finnick come home after beeteeās own died (at the hands of finnick? maybe, but i think itās more likely to be otherwise based on beeteeās and finnickās dynamic) and seeing his own child in a broken boyās face.
just a thought
i dont even fw pjo anymore that much but i just realized that thalia didnt have her sibling in life because she thought he was forever dead and jason didnt have his sibling in death because he knew sheād be forever living
