Watched the 2012 version

And Even watched episodes of Rise of tmnt.

And I can say with certainty

2012 is the best version of the turtles.

They had the best balance of action, comedy, zany tmnt lore and also BEST VERSION IF SPLINTER don’t @ me.

Also in my humble opinion the only Shredder that matched 2003’s menace.

I stan these turtles, and I stand them as the DEFINITIVE turtles

I made these boys once when i the first thought of "if Leonardo was a human he would tie up his hair with his mask tails" and it escalated so quickly- It's also most similar to 2012 because that's the series I'm most well acquainted with!

In these AU the guys are BOTH yokai and mutants, so they can shape shift into humans! the mutation affected their "true" turtle forms to be humanoid and their human form traits to be more close to splinter, whom i have yet to settle on a design for, lol sorry.
