My local comicon is this weekend and I’ve been thinking about what I’m gonna wear on Sunday. I’m not cosplaying but I am gonna try and represent as many fandoms as possible. Might post pictures here.

So I had speculated before that when Ingo was transported to Hisui, because they're two of the prizes that you can buy in any incarnation of the Battle Subway, it's not a stretch of the imagination to think that Ingo may have had a Razor Fang and Razor Claw on him. And if this is true, then it's entirely possible that he was the person responsible for Lady Sneasler becoming... Well... A Sneasler. If he was responsible for her evolution, it would certainly explain why Ingo was allowed to become a Warden in spite of being an outsider to the Pearl Clan when they seem to have a distrust of strangers.

But thinking about it... Actually... Maybe every Warden has a deep tie to their ward like that. We obviously see that Palina was at least partially responsible for Growlithe evolving into Lord Arcanine. (Without a Fire Stone to boot!) But it would also absolutely make sense that Lian would have dug up some Black Augurite which was later used to evolve Scyther into Lord Kleavor!

The more I think about it, really the more it kinda just feels right that maybe the Wardens were selected at least in part because they played a role in their wards evolving and fully taking on their roles as Noble/Ride Pokemon. It would certainly help to explain the more odd choices the clans have made in deciding who becomes a Warden. Sabi being the one to level Braviary up until it evolved would certainly explain her weirdly OP team! And Gaeric is obviously the kind of person who would have leveled up Lord Avalugg. Perhaps Wyrdeer and Basculegion were trying to protect Mai and Iscan respectively when they evolved. And maybe Calaba had been collecting peat for medicinal/ceremonial purposes under the light of a full moon. I don't know what Melli and Arezu would have done to get their wards to evolve... Lian clearly has an interest in rocks, so it only make sense for him to have dug up some Black Augurite, but that doesn't really feel like that would have been the case for Arezu finding a Sun Stone and Melli finding a Leaf Stone. There might be a story there, but I don't know what it would be. The best that I've got is that in Platinum, both can be found in the areas that were once the Crimson Mirelands, so maybe those are just areas where those stones exist in relative abundance and can be found? Who knows? Fun to think about though!

Who I Am

Hello! I'm Will! I know I just did an introduction post a week ago but this will be slightly different. This post will have links! :D Anyway, I'm a huge weeb with ASD and ADHD who also streams on Twitch occasionally. What do I stream, you might ask? Whatever I want! Mainly games that I really like, such as Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon to name a few. Big Nintendo person in case you couldn't tell. I also really enjoy reading manga and watching anime. Some of my favorites include Bleach, One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Oddtaxi, Space Dandy, Chainsaw Man, Komi Can't Communicate, Laid-Back Camp and so much more! I was watching the gameplay reveal for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom earlier, and man does it look sick. May 12th cannot get here any faster. Anyway, after that I decided to watch NintendoBlackCrisis’ videos on the Zonai in Breath of the Wild because they were mentioned in the gameplay video. I needed some long form content to listen to as I was washing our bedsheets so hey, this works out. I am only a quarter through the second video (the first one is 43 minutes, the second one is 85) and man, is my brain fried. Zelda lore is fun. The videos are really good and informative. A lot of it is speculative but it’s still really fun learning about this hidden tribe of people that you can only learn about in game via some ancient ruins and developer interviews.

I need that new mix of “Nothing Can be Explained” from todays Bleach episode as soon as possible. It was so good. All of the music has been pretty good so far. The new tracks are great but I really like what’s been done with the old tracks too. Two new versions of “Hollowed,” two new versions of “On the Precipice of Defeat,” and of course the “Number One” remix from the first episode. Plus “Soundscape to Ardor” and “never meant to belong.” I’ve really enjoyed the anime so far. It sucks that some stuff was cut but I’ve liked all of the stuff that’s been added too.

Me earlier today: Hmm, I better find a way to distract myself from the fact that Tears of the Kingdom comes out at midnight so I’m not thinking about it all day. I know! I’ll do some chores!

Proceeds to do every chore available to me including:

Cleaning the litter boxes for the cats.

Taking the recycling to the recycling center.

Three loads of laundry.

Washing the dishes.

Picking up lunch for me, my wife, and our roommate.

Making dinner for me and my wife. (Roommate usually gets home from work late so they usually get their own dinner.)

Man, more big games that I’m heavily anticipating need to come out. I’m way more productive when I need to not think about something.

Oh, also, here’s what we had for dinner. Rice crispy chicken with chicken rice and green beans.
