When my husband and I were out to dinner this weekend we were talking about our highschool life. i said i wish we met in high school. He told me i wouldnt have like him back then and i told him i definitely would have lol then I had said something along the lines of "idk why I ever dated my ex in the first place he wasn't even my type. Everything about you is my type" and Joe said "I remember the story, you were persuaded into dating him. You never actually picked him. You picked me though, it was always your choice with me" and the way that just hit me 😭 if ya'll knew the story of my ex and I getting together you would know how fucking true this was.

Trauma sharing time lol the first guy I went out with after my ex and I broke up attempted to choke me out. Now whenever anything touches my neck I'll gag or panic from the PTSD trigger of it. I put my x-ray gown on at work to do rads on this dog and the thyroid shield rubbed my neck wrong and it took everything in my power not to gag or rip it off. I had a more difficult time getting into this book at first but the ending was worth it! The whole time I thought it was a different person that died and suspected a different murderer until the last few chapters. Overall I do like some of her other books better
On new years eve my husband over did his drinks a little bit and at one point in the night he grabbed me, kissed me, and said "I would burn the whole fucking world down for you". I have always believed this to be true lol but his reaction to my saftey being in danger... this man would do anything and everything to protect me
Pharmacology is going to kill me. I have an exam on Thursday that I know I'm not going to do the greatest on since I've just been very unmotivated the last 2 weeks. Now that I'm feeling good again I'm kicking myself for not trying harder 😭 how am I going to memorize all these drugs?!

I honestly loved it. It gave me the same good feelings I got when i read November 9 🥺 I read the whole thing within 24 hours lol I like that she used real people's confessions in this although some were quite sad
