I know this isn't my best but I just really loved the idea
Warnings: language, mentions of drowning, passing out, sharks, angst
You often went fishing on your own. It was one of your favorite pass times, seeing as you grew up on an island.
It was a small but loving community, and you found solace in it's silence.
You never killed something on purpose, always throwing your catches back into the water.
There was a group of guys swarming around the rent a boat business you came to once a week, and you found yourself scoffing when you were placed on a larger rent a boat with the group.
"Sorry, y/n. Your boat is in the shop. A hole was found in the bottom. But this way, it's a lot cheaper for you,"
John said, awkwardly scratching at his nape.
You rolled your eyes, getting on the boat. The guys mostly kept their distance, too busy playing around with their rods, getting the hook stuck in one of their hoods.
They were immature, and extremely loud and lewd.
Ad the boat drifted into deeper territory, they all started shoving one another, making the vessel shake. Your balance faltered, and you nearly dropped your rod into the water.
"Hey! Do you mind? You scared off my catch, you pricks," you yelled at them, pacing towards the blonde haired boy.
"What are you gonna do about it, princess? If you didn't want to have fun, you should have gotten on a different boat,"
You scoffed.
"Fishing is me having fun, asshole. Your the ones preventing me from doing so," you turned, about to stride towards your side of the vessel when suddenly you felt your shoulders caged.
"If you wanna catch fish so bad, go fetch," you heard the voice say behind you.
Suddenly, the strong grip led you towards the edge, a strong shove sending you overboard.
You yelled as you felt the cold water nip at your skin, the tide engulfing you as you thrashed.
Your head bobbed above water, and you heard the sickening laughs of the teens above you.
The boat drifted off, leaving you stranded in the depths of the sea.
It was miles from the island, you wouldn't make it if you attempted swimming.
Still, despicable knowing that, your survival instincts made you swim, struggle with the push of the waves.
You pushed yourself for what felt like hours, your vision blurring as you inhaled salt water, the burn keeping you alert. Your limbs felt as if they were on fire despite the freezing water surrounding you.
You felt your eyes closing against your will, your body stilling as you floated, exhausted. Black was all you saw as you felt your brain turning to mush, a large crash of the sea slamming itself onto your body, pushing you below the surface.
You woke up, startled, coughing aggressively. You felt the water swishing in your lungs. You lunged forward, feeling it creep up your esophagus, spitting it out. The salt made it burn.
After you were done hacking up bits of the sea, your eyes adjusted to your unfamiliar surroundings.
It was almost like a nook, the ones you would see in the movies behind a waterfall. The rocks were moist and glistening, and a soft sound of water hitting water filled your ears. There was also a pit filled with water a few feet from you.
Your clothes were damp, and your back ached from laying on stone. You weren't sure for how long.
Wait. How did you end up here?
You looked around again, noticing no other life than you and a few bugs.
Splash!
You whipped your head back to the body of water, noticing a large fin smacking back down, the stray water hitting your exposed legs.
You got up to sit on your knees, glancing into the water.
What you saw frightened you.
Despite the large tail you just saw, when you peered at the figure, you saw a human-like form.
It was blurry from the waves, but you saw a pale skinned boy with light blonde hair, his figure shaking with the tide. His pale body seemed to end near his waist, the color darkening immediately to a dark gray.
But that wasn't what scared you.
It was his eyes. They glowed yellow underneath the water.
You jolted back when he appeared to be rising to the surface, your breath quickening.
You scuffed your knee against the jagged rocks that made up the ground you sat on. You winced, eyes drifting immediately to your fresh wound.
Your mind was still fuzzy from the pressure of the water and new found pain on your leg that you didn't notice the creature coming out of the water.
"Hey! Careful, you could really do some damage," you heard the voice say.
His voice was deep. And had a thick accent to it, compared to the people in town.
You were so surprised. Surely, his top half looked human, but you didn't expect him to be able to communicate.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked again.
When you finally looked at him, you saw he was plopped at the edge of the rock where it met the water.
There was no shallow parts there, just a straight dive into the deep.
"What?" You were still confused about the whole situation, suddenly wondering if you were dreaming.
"Are you alright? Do you know your name?" His gaze turned into concern, looking around for what? You didn't know.
"I'm fine, I think...I'm y/n," you stutter, suddenly feeling cold.
"Ah. A pretty name. I'm Felix. You look hungry," he observed, bringing his finger out to poke your knee.
You flinched, pulling back.
"Sorry...I've just never seen a person so up close," he muttered, pushing his body back into the water, his head still above the surface.
"You eat fish?" He asked.
"Yes, I do,"
Without another word, he left.
You were stuck in this dome like cave with very little lighting, since the sun was going down. You took it upon yourself to look around, and was surprised to find some dead plants.
You brought it all to one corner, grabbing some jagged rocks. You scraped them together aggressively, and eventually, you had a small fire.
You hoped it would last.
When he came back, there was a torn net holding at least twelve fish, and you chuckled as he hurled himself up the ledge, sighing dramatically.
"Wasn't sure how much people eat so I got extra!" He grinned.
You noticed his sharp, jagged teeth, but for some reason, it didn't bother you as much as it should have.
"What are you?"
It came out before you could stop yourself. It was weighing on your mind for a while, giving you time to ponder while he was gone.
His smile faltered before he hid it quickly.
"I'm a shark," he said simply with a grin, opening the net of fish.
He grabbed a stick next to him before spearing the aquatic animal onto it.
"Are you sure? Sharks don't really...talk?" You took the stick from him, holding it over your small fire.
"I don't know? Me and my friends are all like this. I mean- they aren't sharks, but we can all talk? My dad called us hybrids,"
"Hybrids? So your half human?"
"I think? I mean I kinda look like you, but then the other half doesn't-"
He proceeded to keep handing you fish to cook, and you continued to while speaking with him.
"So your friends? You said they aren't sharks?"
His eyes sparkled at the mentions of his friends, his posture straightening.
"Nope! We're all different. I mean, one is a dolphin, the other is a squid, another a sea horse. We all couldn't be more different."
You nodded.
"So they aren't scared of you? Your a predator hybrid," you say, curious.
His eyes widened.
"Oh god, no! I have never hurt them or anyone. Honestly we're fearful of Minho, but I'm a playful way. He's the dolphin,"
You smile.
"I hear dolphins are the most dangerous animal out there,"
You both laughed.
"You might be right,"
It became silent suddenly, but it was a comfortable silence. The fish we're all cooked, so now you both ate.
"Do you remember how you got here?" Felix asked after cleaning the mess up.
You stilled, forgetting completely that you don't belong here. But he made you so comfortable, it feels like you had known him for years.
"Uhh, I fell off a boat? I was fishing I think." Your brain once again turned into mush.
"Two boys pushed you off the boat, y/n. I was lucky I got to you in time. The currents were harsh."
His eyes filled with sadness, his arm reaching up to rest on your calf.
You looked back at him, gauging his words. You remember yelling at the boys, but not being pushed off.
"I forgot," was all you could say.
"Listen, maybe you need some rest. It was a stressful day, after all. I can take you back to the island in the morning?" He tilted his head, his sharp teeth flicking through his lips.
"Oh, yeah. Sure. What about you?"
"I don't sleep much. I can keep the fire going, and go to find something for you to use on the water. If I don't, you'd probably get hypothermia," he grinned, his fin flicking against the water.
You smiled.
"The fire won't hurt you, will it?"
"No. As long as I get back to the water afterwards," he shrugged, scooting over to tend to the fire. "See?"
"Thank you Felix," you laughed, suddenly feeling insanely tired.
The last thing you saw was a heartwarming smile from him before it went dark.
You woke up to the sound of splashing, and fought the sun to open your eyes.
"Y/n? You ready to go?"
Your eyes Open to a cute, wet Felix. Behind him was a floating piece of wood, one that would be able to carry your weight.
"Yeah,"
He led you onto the platform, gently caressing your waist.
"Comfortable?" He asked, his hands hooked onto the sides.
"Yes, Felix I'm okay," you pat his head, watching his face contort into many emotions.
Confusion, denial, acceptance, enjoyment, happinesses.
He liked it.
"Alright, I'll be under the water this entire time, pulling from a rope okay?"
He almost looked like he didn't want to leave you out of his sight. It was endearing.
Wat you didn't know, however, was that he watched you sleep for hours. Not in a creepy way, but he knew it was cold, and didn't want you getting sick or anything. He admired you and your form. He would kill to have legs, and everything else that you do. Life underwater was harsh, even for him. It didn't matter if he was a shark hybrid or not. His caring and empathetic nature wouldn't let him be the predator he should be.
After making sure you were settled, he led you back home.
It took around thirty five minutes before you saw the big piece of floating land, but when you did, you felt your speed slowing down.
"Felix?" You asked, since he didn't come out of the water yet.
The water here compared to the cave was a lot darker. Why? You didn't know. But you were worried the rope cut loose and he didn't know.
It wasn't until you heard water from behind you that you started to worry.
"Felix. What's wrong? Did the rope snap?" You asked, bring your hand up to his wet hair.
He almost looked as if he were going to cry.
"Are you gonna forget about me, y/n?" He choked.
Your heart nearly broke.
"Of course not, Felix. Why would you think that?" You continued petting his head, watching his eyes roll back.
"You'll never see me again,"
"Woah woah woah. Says who? I can still see you, can't I?" You stop him, cursing yourself.
You hadn't even thought that far ahead.
"How would you? We are two different worlds, y/n,"
His eyes were large and shiny with emotion, making you swoon.
"I fish once a week. When I'm on the boat, you come find me, yeah?"
His eyes lit up suddenly, his demeanor changing.
"Really? You'd let me see you?"
"Of course, Felix. You saved my life!" You both laughed.
His light chuckle filled the air, despite being in the middle of the ocean.
"Alright, let's get you home,"

(a/n): this is my first story in a while so bare with me-- TwT
Warnings: suggestive, hand and arm fetish, language, best friend! Seungmin, lemme know if I missed anything
MDNI!
You and Seungmin have been friends for nearly three years before he debuted, meeting in in high school. You two became inseparable, even after moving into dorms with the guys. You practically lived with them anyway.
The guys became your family just as they had to Seungmin, and treated you like a younger sister.
You slept on the couch of whichever dorm Seungmin was in, since they changed roommates every once and a while.
You thought of Seungmin like a brother ever since you met him, and he you, as his sister. But after his debut, puberty hit him like a truck. His features became more pronounced and less innocent like, and his body hardened and grew.
You were always chilling with the staff when they were filming or doing concerts. Seungmin always insisted you be wherever he was, as you were his anchor. He never let you stay in one spot without him.
The first time you noticed your shift in feelings was when you were watching their dance practice. Seungmin decided you should be surprised. He didn't let you know which song beforehand, so you couldn't try to predict the choreography.
Before the guys started, however, you noticed Felix grinning at you, but you had no idea as to why.
Since it was a practice day, all the boys were wearing comfortable, loose clothing, things they were confident they could dance in. Seungmin wore one of his largest sweaters, one of your favorites on him, and basketball shorts. His hair flopped lazely across his forehead, bouncing with any sudden movement.
He caught your eye before the music started, and you flashed him a thumbs up, making him smile softly.
It was one of their new songs, one you hadn't heard before, so you were entranced immediately.
The intro itself looked uncomfortable. Minho resting his back on his members feet while Felix seemed to puppeteer him from a standing position, the guys letting Minho get comfortable while they were on their backs.
That took a lot of trust.
They were all doing great, and this quickly became one of your favorites so far. But all you could do was watch Seungmin.
Even though Minho was the dancer of the group, your vocalist made dancing look so simple, so easy. The fluidity of his body make your breath hitch.
And what made you feel so weak was when Changbin said "Poppin'".
Not just Seungmin, but the entire group crouched slightly, thrusting their hips I'm circular motions while tilting their necks, exposing their Adams apples individually.
Seungmin himself has seemed to have perfected this move. He locked eyes with yours and smirked, thrusting his hips a bit harder compared to the rest, making your ears turn red and to your chest heave.
He continues while the song plays ok the background, no longer looking at you.
And once again, Changbins part arrives, with Chan, Seungmin, and Han doing the tower with their hands. And that's when you lost all sense.
Seungmins hands.
You hadn't ever once looked at his hands, but now that you saw them, they are all you can see.
Throughout the entirety of the dance practice, all you lived for was Seungmins hands.
As you say in your seat patiently, your own fingers grasped at the sweats you were wearing, feeling the sting of your manicured nails through the fabric on your thighs.
Out of breath, Seungmin walks over to you, sitting beside you as he sips on his water.
"Aside from the staff, you are the first STAY to watch that dance. What'd you think, y/n?" Seungmin said, rolling his sleeves up.
"It was really great, Min. You did a good job," you swallowed hard, now seeing the veins protruding from his lengthy arms. Dancing must be what does that to him.
"Are you okay, y/n? You look a little pale," Seungmin asked, concern etched on his face. He went to list a hand to your forehead, but you suddenly flinched back, making him freeze.
"y/n? What's wrong?" Seungmin looked hurt, but didn't touch you.
"Nothing Minnie, really."
"Seungmin, I need your help really quick!" You heard Felix shout from the doorway. You look over at him, seeing a knowing look in his eyes.
"Hold on," he said, looking back to you. "y/n. Did I do something wrong?" Seungmins breathing seems to have changed in the short period he started talking to you.
You glanced at his exposed arms and his long, slim fingers, sighing when dirty thoughts started forming in your head. Closing your eyes, only to open them with a small smile.
"Just had a moment, Min. I'm better, I promise!" You added a giggle at the end, hoping he would take it and leave.
He nodded, leaving you in the dance room as he left for Felix. Little did you know that he noticed the heat on your eyes when you looked at his limbs.

Summary: Your having a hard day and meet a beautiful guy with the voice of a bass. How will it end?
Walking to the public bus stop, your shoulders hunched as you shiver slightly. You were still damp from the water that spilt on you earlier, making you cooler than you cared for.
It was a particularly warm day, for which you were grateful. You weren't grateful however, for your pain in the ass boss for deducting something that wasn't your fault, from your paycheck.
You reached the bench, about to sit on the edge away from the other person waiting. But then you felt something around you shift. This guy, sat perched playing on his phone, literally radiated energy. Good energy.
You couldn't help but smile slightly. You sighed as you sat down, relieved to be off your feet for a while.
You sat quietly, not moving. You were tense around the shoulders, and you could tell it showed.
"Rough day?" You heard a deep voice ask softly, making you turn to the boy. Was it his voice? No way...
"Pardon?"
He smiled gently, placing his phone in his pocket.
"I said, rough day?" He repeats, giving you his full attention.
You scoffed, nodding at him. "So rough...you have no idea," you breathed out a mocking laugh.
He knew it wasn't pointed at him. He didn't mind, as long as you get rid of the pent up tension.
He thought you were quite beautiful, and the way you expressed your emotions made him intrigued.
"Wanna talk about it?" He asked, raising a brow.
"Ugh...Just one of those days, you know?" You answered, shrugging your shoulders. "Nothing but my dick boss being a dick, and nature throwing things at me. Literally..." You said, pointing to the damp patch on your shirt.
He only nodded, showing he understood without actually saying anything. You felt comfortable around this boy.
His features were otherworldly in your opinion. His beautiful eyes, his heart shaped face, the flecks of freckles your sister called angel kisses...Oh. Thats what he seems like. An angel.
"What's your name, sir?" You asked, suddenly curious.
His eyes widened. He almost seemed shocked.
"Wait...This entire time, you hadn't known who I am?" He asks in a doubting tone, looking at you through a squint.
"Pardon?" This is your second time being surprised by him and his shocking looks, as well as his tone. Were you supposed to know him?
"You really don't know me?"
You felt your face flush, "Oh my god, please don't tell me we've met and I completely forgot. If that's the case, then I am so so so sorry, sir," you mumble, trying to look through your memory for angelic features, only to find none.
"Oh! No no no, not at all. I would remember a pretty girl like you. No. It's just that, I'm kinda sorta famous. Popular, I guess," He explained, suddenly flushing himself.
He wouldn't describe himself as cocky or egotistical, but he would have thought you would at least have seen him somewhere. Anywhere, at least.
You on the other hand, found it odd that your angel called you pretty. In your opinion, you couldn't be compared to his beauty. He literally looks like he's carved from stone.
"You're...famous? Are you an actor? Or a model?" You were certain he was a model. If he wasn't, you needed him to be immediately, suddenly imaging him walking on a runway. In something very revealing.
"Have you ever heard of Stray Kids?" He switched from hugging his knee to crossing it with his other, shifting his body to face you completely.
"Stray Kids? Is that a movie?" You weren't into television much, so who knew what he was talking about.
"No, it's a Korean boy group I'm apart of. I'm a singer," He finishes, proudly smiling at his confession.
Your eyes widened once again, imaging a voice like his singing. You bet it would be brilliant.
"Oh! That's so cool! I'll have to look that up when I get home," You say, blushing as you flashed him a smile.
"What's your name? I'm Felix," He held out his hand for you to shake. You hesitantly took it, grasping lightly.
"Felix? Your name even sounds angelic..." You mutter more to yourself than to him, but he heard it anyway, grinning.
"Name, sweetheart?" He asks again, still patient.
"Y/n,"
"That's beautiful. I've never met anyone named y/n," His brows come together as he thinks about the people he's met. "Yeah, no, I haven't,"
"Glad I'm your first," as soon as you said it, your face flushed quickly, making him laugh loudly. It sounded like music to you.
Before either of you could say anything else, the screeching of the bus tires sounded, making you both turn to look at it.
"Sit next to me?" He asked, holding out his hand. "We could get to know each other more?"
"Are you sure? What about dating rumors and mistress scandals?" You joked, standing beside him.
What you heard next knocked the wind out of you.
"If it's with you, I'll be okay,"
Pictures you'd take of your best friend! Seungmin 🤎🐶
Notes:
glad to finally start with this series. Its been on my mind for months! Hope you all enjoy, and if you have any ideas on the connecting parts, lmk!!
Warning:
Language, smut mentioned, fluff
You sighed as you walked to your local GameStop. It had just been too long since you've had a real connection, and you were desperate for anything.
Your friend who worked there had told you that they had a game donated that resembled a dating simulator, and that she set it aside for you. She did it mostly to tease you, but honestly, you really needed this.
You didn't know if it was truly a dating game or not, but you couldn't care less at the moment.
You came in, grabbed it, and paid.
You rushed home after stopping for lunch, starting your PC. You let it warm up while you showered and changed into your lounge clothes, rubbing your temples at the bright light in the dark room.
Your computer ate the disc, accepting it just as well as you did. The loading screen appeared, and you watched the sphere spin.
It seemed to last hours before you finally heard a ping.
It's done loading!
You quickly clicked the icon, watching the screen fall black before switching to a pale blue.
As it drifted to the logo, you noticed how it looked extremely pixelated but in a 90's Mario game way.
The title read, 'Stray Kids: Together'
Some clouds jumped in the background, the Play and Settings buttons appearing after a few seconds.
You admired the pastel aesthetic before moving your cursor to click on Play.
Gently clicking on your mouse, it sent you to yet another clouded screen with a small sunset.
Logs set 1
>Bangchan Last opened ?
>Lee Know Last opened ?
>Changbin Last opened ?
>Hyunjin Last opened ?
What type of names are these? You thought.
You noticed that each one didn't have a date log, so you were unsure if they were even opened yet.
Curious, you clicked the first name.
Then, your computer crashed.
You scoffed, cursing the damn old seeming cartridge. The pixels in the opening screen made it seem like it was made in the 90's, but the labeling date was scratched off so you didn't really know.
You were about to shut off your computer before the screen boosted, a light gray flickering against the screen.
You weren't sure what was happening before you saw the command,
Allow microphone access?
> Yes No
You clicked yes.
Allow camera access?
> Yes No
You clicked yes again, and that was when you heard a click, and then the spinning of a disc.
"Hello?"
You heard a voice from nowhere. You bristled, turning around to look in your room. Was someone here?
"Over here,"
Your head whipped back to the screen, only to be met with the most prettiest guy you had ever seen.
"Woah," you mumbled.
He grinned.
"What's your name?" He asked again. Did he have an accent?
"Y/n. You're...Bangchan?" You ask, pulling your chair closer to the desk.
"Your a quick learner,"
You blinked. What now?
"So...are you like an AI? Or, like, how are you speaking to me?" You question, resting your arm on your hand.
His eyes widen. "Uhh, I'm not actually sure. Honestly, I feel real, but I'm not? I don't know if that helps?" He cleared his throat. "But what I do know is that you need someone. You wouldn't be here otherwise,"
"How would you know that?" You jolt. He was spot on.
"I know what I was created for. We all do,"
Wait what?
"Who's we?"
He smiled, his eyes turning into crescents. So beautiful
"You saw the other names, right? There are more of us...more of me," He explained slowly. "Here I was thinking you were a quick learner,"
"Hey!" You both laughed at his comment, then you sighed.
"So, are you all the same? Just look different? What's the deal?"
He spinned, the back of his neck revealing a code. CB97
"No, we are all incredibly different. We couldn't be the same even if we wanted. Different code. I'm the first, so they consider me like...a big brother? We all serve different purposes for whatever you need," he scratched his head, and his hair moved so smoothly.
It was then that you realized that the screen was no longer pixelated like the opening screen, it was now hd, smooth. You could almost see his pores.
"Different purposes? What the hell does that mean, Chan?" You let it slide past, not realizing.
"Chan?" His eyes glistened. "I like it," he grinned, watching your face heat up.
"Purposes Chan," you remind quietly, twirling a piece of your hair.
"Right. Well me, I'm a comforter. I help you when your stressed. Lee know? He's kinda...sexual? He can help with those needs, but he can comfort too. Uhh Changbin, he's more of an amuser. Hyunjin, a relaxer and comforter. Han? He can do literally everything. He's the ace of the group. Felix, comfort. Seungmin? Amuser and sexual. Jeongin, all. You know?"
It was a lot to take In. You didn't even know what half of this meant. At least not yet.
"So if I were horny-" he cut you off.
"Han, Lee Know, Seungmin or Jeongin are your guys." He said, his eyes staring into your own.
You felt yourself flush.
"Are they all as pretty as you?" You whisper, making his face freeze.
"Uh, they are, if not prettier, y/n," he gently smiles, placing his hand flat against the screen.
"You couldn't help me?" You brought your own palm to rest against his, only to be met with a cold surface.
"I wasn't given that programming. If you need help, just log out and meet with one of the others," he explained, his eyes tracing your hand, almost as if to memorize it.
"Oh," was all you could say. "I'm okay, for now," you say with a cheeky smile, making him chuckle.
"Good to hear. You tired yet? It's dark," he asked, making you blink. You turned to look out your window.
Holy shit, it's dark!
"Oh my god i work tomorrow!" You curse yourself, jumping up from your chair.
You heard Chan laughing in the background.
"Can I jump on tomorrow?" You asked him after cleaning up a bit.
"You don't need to ask, y/n. We're yours!" He gleemed, his eyes shimmering in the light.
"Mine..." You repeat. You never really thought if it that way.
"Yes, y/n. Completely and utterly yours. I'm sure the rest will fall for you just as I did," he said.
You looked at him.
"How does a computer fall for me?" You were baffled at this point. What did he mean?
"This computer was coded with feelings," he grinned. "Goodnight, y/n!"
You didn't get to respond before he disappeared.
You were kicked to the opening screen, the pixelated clouds taunted you as they jumped up and down.
You absolutely felt so lucky to have found this game.
Connection found. Now you just need to pursue all eight men.
