Character A being the stoic leader, refusing to negotiate with the enemy side. But as soon as Character B is put in danger, A folds.
A feverish Character B leaning into Character A’s cool touch
Kidnapping whump can be so good, theres so many options,,,
Do they get drugged and wake up in an unfamiliar place?? Do they get a gun dug into their back and a whispered threat to comply?? Do they get jumped on the street and manhandled into a van??
What about once they’re there?? How do they react?? Are they stoic and unbreakable?? Defiant and quippy?? Or are they terrified, begging to be let go?? Do they cry?? Scream?? Or stay silent no matter what??
And what do their captors want?? Information?? Does b tell?? Or perhaps they want to send a message, to hurt someone close to b. Or maybe its personal, maybe they just want b.
What do they do to b?? Just rough them up a bit?? A couple strong punches or kicks?? Some threats, maybe?? Or do they go further?? Broken fingers, water boarding, whips?? Severed toes, extracted teeth, eye puncture?? Do they condition them or use non con or dehumanize them??
How does it end?? Are they rescued by their team, friends, caretaker or even enemy?? Do they escape on their own or with other victims?? Are they set free, after the captors are done with them?? Does their story end with the sweet release of death?? Or does it never end??
Ahhhhh, kidnapping,,,

One thing I love is how eager the White Collar cast is to do more of the show, like, a bunch of shows that run for a few seasons leave the cast kinda done with them but like for White Collar everyone wants to do more. You see a ton of actors who play a character like Neal Caffrey are kinda like “that was fun but I’m done” but Matt Bomer is like “yes pleaseeeee put me back in that fedora, LET ME WEAR THE FEDORA AGAIN, I love Neal Caffrey, I want to work with Tim Dekay, LETS DO MORE” and I think that says a lot about the show 😂
Leader pushed (reluctant) Caretaker away harshly, shoving them into the wall of the hospital's hallway.
"You don't get to be here, you don't get to show up when it's fucking convenient for you!" Leader shouted, blocking the door to Whumpee's room. "They go missing for weeks and where were you? We finally find them and it takes you days just to come visit!"
"I was- I- I know, Leader. I know," Caretaker said, surrendering in their guilt.
"You know, huh?" Leader scoffed. "Did you know that they called your name when they heard us coming. That they begged us and begged us just to let them see your face, to hear your voice? They trusted you and you abandoned that trust, you abandoned them, you abandoned all of us, Caretaker." Leader turned their back to Caretaker. "You need to think long and hard about your place here, figure your shit out. I don't want to have to do it for you."

There’s a huge misunderstanding and character B ends up hurting character A out of anger for something it turns out they didn’t actually do. B’s guilt when the truth is revealed is immeasurable.
