Marinette’s Life (after the Week Off)
So Surprise after way too much time working, some later hours. I finally finished fic from the winner of the Poll I posted a few weeks back. It was tie so I literally just flipped a coin. The poll was to try to get over my writer’s block and I still struggled with it. I’m not entirely happy with this fic but I am a bit proud of it. So I hope you like it. And thanks for reading. Marinette’s week off
Two or three times a month, Marinette wouldn’t be in class. She’d be gone for a few day, once in a while an entire week, and come back like it was nothing. The teachers would never complain. No matter how much the other students in class brought it up. She was gone almost as much as Adrien was.
The teachers refused to say anything. It was clear they knew something but for some reason went pale whenever anyone asked about. More than likely it was the result of the so-called “student aides” that now sat in the back of the class rooms, watching.

Mari just does jewelry, she doesn't design clothes, only jewelry that she shows off every now and then in her YouTube channel where she does gaming vids among other things.
She doesn't show her face since she is 14. I can totally see her meeting Thomas Sanders, Dan and Phil, Rosanna Pansino, Markiplier, Matpat, and a few other gamers, possibly the channel Tasty and The Try Guys and they promise to keep her face hidden from view when doing a video together.
But the other subscribers of the others only know that this girl is French, bc of her accent, that she has blue eyes bc of Phil saying something of them being twin eye buddies. That she's a baker's daughter bc Ro gushes and complains how Mari knows how to bake better than her before going "duh you grew up in one."
Now imagine...Lila lying she knows the girl possibly thinking this girl is also another girl who perhaps just is related to a baker and Mari bitches to possibly Mark or Sean or even Dan during the behind the scenes of a vid.
Dan went to college for a bit to be a lawyer. He has also met the other YouTubers thst Mari has done a collab with, 'cept Matpat I believe.
All these YouTubers confronting Lila live....

Thor and Marinette Headcanons!
Thor views Mari as the little sister he never had and as such teaches her Asgardian customs and fighting
He tells Frigga about her, who insist of meeting her and joins in on the whole “Marinette is now Asgardian” business. She teaches her about Asgardian clothing and etiquette and history and literature
Thor makes sure to keep an eye out for the tiny girl. Partially because he has heard of Lila and Chloe and he is worried and partially because he doesn’t want to let her down like he had with Loki
Marinette stress bakes a lot and Thor stress eats. they create a perfect ecosystem of stress relief. When Loki joins in, he is the one who stress buys ingredients and stress cleans the kitchen after those two are done
Marinette is now accustomed to being plucked off the ground and seated on Thor’s shoulder at comepletly random times. Marinette likes being tall and they both feel a little safer knowing the other is so immediately close and okay

Bio!Dad Sherlock Holmes
Marinette was put up for adoption by her mother even before she was born. Sabine and Time adopted her and took her home from the hospital, having been there for her birth. No one knew who the father was, not even her biological mother. It was messy thing, honestly.
Marinette grew up the same way she did in show, though her intellect was so above average that she skipped three grades by the time she was eight. She loved puzzles form a young age and the bakery and family home are decorated with glued together and framed multi-thousand piece puzzles. She still loves to design and uses her intimate knowledge about clothes to help her deduce people.
She deduced Chloe to tears the first time they met. After that Chloe sort of stuck around, because she didn’t have to say anything but Marinette still knew and understood, which was such an amazing thing to the two of them.
Marinette is always underestimated by her classmates, even after she showed off her skills multiple times. This backfired on them really quickly because as soon as one of them crossed her, they were buried six feet under. She might have more emotional intelligence than her father but she was still Sherlock Holmes’s daughter.
Through Chloe Marinette quickly gained blackmail on several politicians and celebrities that stayed at the hotel and coveted all of those peices of evidence to use when she needed them. Sometimes she played a card, to get an outcome for something she deemed to be for the best. She also managed to gather a lot of favors and such in that time.
Marinette found Hawkmoth in the span of two months. She hacked the CCTV to track the origin point of the Akumas and went from there. The take down started with Gabriel Agreste, not the actual villain. She called in favors and debts. It worked wonders. Within twenty four hours, the Agreste fashion empire was crumbling to ash at her feet.
This caught Mycroft’s attention and he had Paris watched. That is how he found out about the threat and the girl behind it all. Hawkmoth was caught and procescuted within a week of Gabriel Agreste fleeing the elite scene with his tail between his legs. It was quite intriguing to watch it all crumble. Reminded him a little bit of a stunt his younger brother pulled a few months back.
Marinette graduated ahead of her age group, having moved up a few more grades since she was eight years old. She decided to go to college in London because why not. She had solved all of Paris’s mysteries and she was beginning to get bored. London would be a new playground. A fun one at that.
She was wrong. London was pretty boring and dreary. But what did it matter. College was somewhat interesting, though she had wanted to slam her head against a wall repeatedly after listening to some of the lectures she attended. At least the library was vaste and had variety.
Then, after her fourth month in England, something intresting happened. Sarah Williams, the American girl who lived in the dorm across the hall from her’s was found dead on the banks of the Thames.
She met her biological father in a spectacularly strange and completely on brand way. He and John were coming to look at the crime investigation at the dorm where the police were and they walked in on Marinette yelling at Donovan in rapid French and English, her blue eyes cold and regardless of her small stature she seemed to tower over Sgt.Donovan.
Everyone was watching with a strange mix of fascination and horror as the small girl took a deep, huffy breath then proceeded to cuss up a storm under her breath in English and French.
Apparently Marinette had burst into the room crying and begging the police to do something in French however when Dononvan tried to move a stack of books on Sarah Williams’s desk she stopped crying and started yelling at her. And proceeded to yell for about fifteen minutes.
Than, in English, Marinette declared that it was an abduction and murder by some petty organization that Sarah’s father owed money to. Apparently they tried too hard to make everything in the room appear normal. The dust patterns were important.
John just rounds on Sherlock and takes a deep breath. Than he proceeds to introduce himself to Marinette and asks if she would be amicable to take an ancestry test.
Au with Marinette as Percy Jackson twin sister and she has sea green eyes like him how would she react to kawamis and how she deal with being the air with akumas and also deal with lila
Demigod Marinette!
Okay, so her name in this is Maris (which means of the sea) because Sally is amazing at naming children and she is just overall amazing tbh
She is much more subdued than her twin brother, which turns out to be a good thing, since it allows her to apply to a scholarship in Paris for a design school, which she is accepted for. Her mother insist she go by boat instead of plane and while Mari is surprised, she agrees because she preferred it anyway.
Percy is sad to see his sister go but understands that it will be better for her in Paris instead of in New York with Smelly Gabe.
When the whole Demigod, monster thing happens and Percy is all over the news with Sally reported as missing, Mari has a breakdown in class because her only family is missing, probably dead and she doesn’t know what to do,
at that point, she already has the Kwami and has become the guardian early because of Master Fu’s untimely passing. The Kwami try to comfort this girl and when the news of Percy and Sally being okay reaches Mari she weeps of joy and goes home immediately, damn the consequences! She needs to be with her family right now.
By the time she gets back, Sally is waiting for her and takes her to camp halfblood where she is immediately claimed because she is Percy’s twin, she could only be the daughter of Poseidon as well. She does not care one bit, grabbing hold of her brother and berating him for worrying her all the while babbling about how much she missed and loved him.
Almost everyone else is staring because “Uh, who is she?” “My twin sister”
When the Kwami come out, everyone is freaked out. the Kwami are pissed at the Greeks and have half a mind to charge up to Olympus and demand justice for these children and both surprisingly and unsurprisingly, it is Tikki leading them. Mari has to talk them down, which the other campers find both entertaining and horrifying because those are tiny, powerful GODS!!!!!!
Maris doesn’t understand what the big deal is because they are all sort of the weird extended family she never had in her eyes.

Queen Bee Marinette/ HBIC (Head Bitch in Charge) Like a ruthless Queen bee that would make Mean Girls Regina George look a freaking kitten in comparison. The entire school either worships at Marinette’s feet or runs in fear of her; with only one exception…
Bustier’s class. Marinette always chose to only utilize her nice/sweet girl persona with them as that teacher and students interacted most with her parents; and she’d rather her parents think she was still their sweet little girl. It worked for her.
As long as her fellow students in Bustier’s class played their parts, they’d never have to fear her wrath like the rest of the school. But they never realized how lucky they were. They never realized the true powerful Marinette wielded at school, having always be shielded from it
That all changed with Lila came to class; ignorant Lila who never realized just who she was messing with when she started to turn the class against Marinette. When the class finally does, Marinette decides to show them just what it really means to step to the Queen.
I was thinking the Mean Girls Broadway song “Apex Predator” would be a really good song fic to this.
Where Chloe and maybe one or two other girls in school tried to warn Lila and Alya just who she crossed.
“Don’t be fooled by the pink,” Chloe told Alya. The blonde hated the Ladyblog reporter but even she wasn’t mean enough to let Alya walk to into school on Monday, not realizing it wasn’t the place she remembered anymore. It was hell, and Marinette was on the throne.. “She is not playing dolls. She is stalking the halls; living off thrill of the kill. Marinette can smell fear.”
Just how much Marinette is and should be feared is revealed.

Medieval au: Basically just the characters in a medieval setting. Thats it basically.
Legendary pokemon au: The main charcters are legendary pokemon while most side characters are humans. Easily adaptable.
Watcher au: (specific to Hermitcraft and the life smps) an au were one person (usually Grian) is a watcher. A god-like creature that watches other ‘stories’ and usually don’t have feelings.
