-Nemuri Kayama (Midnight)-

“Get back here” A voice could be heard from inside the apartment as a heavily bandaged hero slowly ran after her cat as the elderly feline dodged her with agility she could only wait to regain.

“Nemuri….” a menacing voice spoke from the shadows as the ex-hero froze in fear “you’re supposed to be in bed” the same voice growled as it inched closer. “But y/nnn” she complained before wincing in pain “that’s what I thought” Y/n huffed before helping her back to her bed throwing a quick glare at Sushi. 

Nemuri couldn’t help but sigh dramatically, “Y/n I’m almost fully healed why do I have to stay in bed” Y/n snorted “You got out of the hospital three days ago” 

Retirement was meant to be relaxing, but poor Nemuri just couldn’t stay still, after so many years in the field the hospital had recommended she go to counseling and pick up a few hobbies while she adjusted to being out of work. She wasn’t wanting for money since she hardly had time to spend what she made as a hero, and her s/o continued working so she couldn’t even find an excuse to get a job. It was nice being able to go to the grocery store or out on dates with her s/o once the masses had adjusted to her retirement. She even got to spend more time with Sushi, a cat that she had adopted from Oboro back in her UA days. It wasn’t the worst thing ever compared to the injuries she sustained knowing she would be feeling the effects of them for the rest of her life.

-Rumi Usagiyama (Mirko)-

“So how’s retirement treating you?” The winged hero asked his friend as she sighed setting her game controller down “it’s sooo boring” she whined adjusting her body a little as the bandages began to pull in an awkward position. “At least it’s safe” the blonde smiled as she scowled at him “I don’t want safe I want to be out helping people” she didn’t think it was fair, she was young, only twenty-seven, and already retired because of her injuries. “Why don’t you pick up a hobby?” Y/N asked carrying a tray of snacks towards the two “Like what?” the rabbit-eared woman questioned as her s/o shrugged “anything really, just something you like to do to pass the time”.

Even though she questioned the fairness of her situation, she quickly adjusted to her new routine and even picked up a multitude of hobbies. She started streaming easy home workouts once she healed up and filmed gaming videos that Keigo and Y/N would occasionally guest star in. It gave her a way to continue interacting with fans as well as pass the time whilst her best friend and s/o went to work. She went to counseling for awhile while dealing with the psychological effects that came with being a hero but stopped going eventually as it got easier now only seeing her therapist once a month. She adopted a few rabbits to keep her company since it did get lonely in being alone in the house for hours at a time.

Thinking about situationship!Toji,you know he’s a deadbeat the way you pay for everything. You know he’s fucking other people, but none of that seems to matter cause nobody can fuck you half as good as Toji and he knows it. I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to take this and so after much research this is what I came up with. I'm not completely satisfied with it but may continue it in another part eventually.

“Aizawa maybe you should get some help-” 

“No” This wasn’t the first time he and Mic have had this conversation despite not having really spoken in a couple months now. In fact, Aizawa hadn’t even come out of his house in the last two months, always muttering about something coming to get him much to his friends and coworkers' confusion. Of course this was strange even for the raven haired man as he was usually on top of his work. But from the smell of him, he hadn’t been on top of anything in his life recently. His house was dark and unusually messy for the usually neat and logical hero. “I’m serious Shouta this can’t be healthy” the usually loud and upbeat hero said seriously as his coworker looked around wildly as though seeing something that nobody else could. “They’re watching me, they’re always watching me” the dark haired man muttered walking away from his friend who stood there in the living room silently as Aizawa once again, shut himself in his room. What or who was watching him? What was he talking about? And how could they help him? All these things Mic wondered as he made his way out the front door, distraught from not being able to truly help his friend as he teetered on the edge of complete and utter insanity.

Mikasa

It had been months and everyone, including Mikasa was convinced you were dead despite the hope that came with not seeing you eaten or flesh torn to pieces. She threw herself into training, rarely stopping and oftentimes the only sleep she got was when she passed out from exhaustion. So, it was shocking for everyone when your unconscious body turned up outside Wall Sina battered, bruised, and bloody but otherwise unharmed for someone who was supposed to be dead. Mikasa wasn’t informed of your reappearance until about a week later, after you’d been awake and speaking for two days ready to go back home. Everyone left the two of you alone after everyone in the camp had witnessed her sprint in your direction after Connie had accidentally let it slip that you were back. She wanted to know everything, where you were, what happened, how’d you get back, etc. But wasn’t about to pressure you about it. She plays it pretty cool but you can tell she’s relieved and so is everyone else because now there was no fear that she was gonna work herself to death.

Levi

He knew it was a horrible idea. From the very beginning he tried to talk you out of it up until you had dashed into that forest full of titans effectively getting the giants to chase you as you lead them away from the rest of the team. Poor man didn’t have time to grieve properly as he tried to keep everyone else alive. Nobody had expected you to come back, Levi was even in the middle of selecting a burial vessel for your body when you bound through the doors looking dead on your feet and with the amount of blood that covered you you managed to look mere minutes from death's doorstep but that didn’t matter to him, he was simply glad you were back in some-what one piece.

Hange

Man bestie already has to deal with Levi’s grumpy ass but adding on your reckless ass? She’s goin crazy thinking about you going out there amongst the titans having already lost so many friends and comrades to them. But you insisted you’d be fine, that you’d come back to her so she let you go. She waited weeks and slowly those weeks turned into months and they were just about to declare you dead when you barged into the room and crooked, beat up grin on your face before you collapsed finally safe to rest.She was overjoyed at your return and knew it would happen eventually despite everyone else believing you had died.

Annie

She wasn’t a fool, she knew there was a higher chance of you dying then returning. She absolutely blew up when you’d suggested using yourself as bait which led to fighting between the two of you before you left and made the fact that you indeed hadn’t returned with the others much more painful. An entire year passed before your barely conscious body turned up bruised and bloody and the argument long forgotten as she all but threw people out of the way to see you.
