I don't think they have scars on their tentacles. I get the artistic appeal and it looks cool (and is cannon if you look close at Captain 3s tentacles there are faint scars)

But...their tentacles are hair remember? It's their hair, it grows, they cut it. Any trauma afflicted to the original hair tentacles wouldn't be on their new ones.

Like if you cut a chunk of your hair that chunk wouldn't be there forever, it wouldn't grow that way. Their hair can get long, look at the hair styles ranging from long to short.

Here is where I write fanfiction about my favorite characters, mainly from Star Wars and Marvel, but it’s open to anything else I've been infatuated recently. Some things that may or may not make you fall in love with me: I'm a great dancer but only when nobody's watching. I still make pinky promises. My showers are always hot and super long—I do my best thinking in there. I fall in love just a little bit with every single person I meet. I really like it when people who wear glasses come inside from being outside for a while and their glasses fog up, and when waitresses carry lots and lots of plates at the same time, and also when people point out the stars they know on a clear night. My chocolate ranking is as follows: dark, milk, white, and no I'm not accepting criticism. Black lives matter, science is real, no human is illegal, women's rights are human rights, kindness is everything.
