Okay so people probably already know about everything that went down in SnowGrave route and that whole deal with.... Berdly. About how Noelle supposedly kills him, and how it’s highly speculated that that kills him in the real world as well because of how he seems unresponsive after waking up. 

But I want to give just a spark of hope that he’s not actually dead yet (mostly for myself lmfao), and someone may have mentioned this already but oh well- 

Basically, as far as I’ve seen, the game doesn’t announce your victory after freezing Berdly. It doesn’t say “You won!”, doesn’t give you any money, doesn’t tell you Noelle got stronger, anything. 

She just says she wants to go home, walks away, and the battle ends right there.

So maybe. Just maybe he’s only frozen in place and that’s it or something? I saw from another tumblr post that Berdly could just be frozen in place in the Real World, unable to move, or he’s simply comatose, and I feel like this small detail could also support that. 

He’s not exactly dead, just... stuck, in a way. 

Then again, the info for SnowGrave does read “Fatal”, and when other enemies are frozen in place they’re basically dead and the victory text does appear for them but.... Maybe Noelle did something? Idk, I’m just trying to be hopeful, really hhhhhhh

(Unless i’m dumb and just completely missed seeing the victory text, but I’m like 99% sure it’s not there, correct me if I’m wrong lol, but if I’m not wrong I’d also love to hear your thoughts on all this, thanks for reading)

I will never understand Berdly hate. "He's cringe!" "He's rude!" "He looks down on people!" Ohh, okay. So when you were a child, you were absolutely perfect and polite and respectful to everyone all the time.

He really is just a kid. He's a kid, and he's confused. And that's the adults' fault for stroking his ego after ONE SPELLING BEE until he was obsessed with trying to impress people (adults that will praise him especially). He doesn't understand that it's okay to not be right all the time, because in his mind, right=praise and wrong=being ignored.

And it's not like he's rude intentionally. He has difficulty understanding why people don't like him, because "I'm smart, all the adults like me". That's why he thought he had a crush on Noelle, since she was the only person that was kind to him. Again why that focus shifted to Susie when she was nice to him.

With Noelle, when he ignored her throughout the game, it wasn't maliciously. He assumed that, since she's "his equal", she would have the same thought processes as him. Essentially thinking they were at the "finishing each other's sentences" friendship level. To him, he was just saying what she was thinking; he didn't know he was ignoring her.

As for him being cringe, I would like to reiterate that HE'S A KID. A kid who's trying to figure himself out. He uses gamer talk because he has difficulty making friends, so he probably spends most of his time on a computer. He has trouble talking to people because his world view is split between "people like me when I do smart things" and whatever the games he plays are teaching him. Playing dating simulators has him convinced that anyone who tries to interact with him has a crush on him (as we see in chapter two, when Kris tries to interact with Berdly after fighting Q5U4EX7YY2E9N and he tells Kris to go since he's already interested in Susie, implying that he thinks Kris liked him in that way).

All this to say, the Berdly hate is ridiculous. I didn't mean to ramble on that long, but I agree with you. He's just a kid who's confused and an absolute dork. And that's okay! He's one of my favorite characters because of it.

A friend of mine blessed me with this rhyme they made after seeing Berdly hate for the first time (they are also obsessed with him), "He is cringe, but he is free! He's just a kid, so leave him be!"

I don’t understand why people hate him so much. So what if he comes off as a little cringy? That’s the point! He’s supposed to be a bit annoying and nerdy. I mean, he’s just a kid, after all. He’s not going to be the most emotionally intelligent of the bunch. In fact, he can be very selfish sometimes, but that doesn’t mean that he’s a bad character, it just means that he’s flawed.

He’s extremely loyal to Queen, even when she doesn’t appreciate him in the same way she appreciates Noelle.

He tries to help Noelle during the Snowgrave Route because he thinks Kris is hurting her.

All of his actions are, in his eyes, for his, Noelle’s, Kris’, and Susie’s own good.

Overall, I think Berdly is just misunderstood by others and confused by Queen. But at the end of the day, he genuinely does want to be a good person.

Also my friend got really obsessed with him when the game came out so that was funny

What determines a darkner?

My brain hurts every time I think about this so I'm asking the internet

I wonder what would happen if kris tore out their soul in a dark world? Also it would be terrifying having your dead friend become a darkner.

These take way too long to make compared to how long they take to read but I’m determined to keep going haha. So, the two pink characters, Elvis and “Pink” (not her real name) are cousins. I’ll probably upload a ref of them soon! This is really just an intro and a test to see if I could finish a scene. More to come soon.

I found out one of the stupidest and most funny things ever!

In Deltarune chapter 2, when your fighting the three guys of music (sweet, cap’n and K_K). In there fight, at the start, when you loose all your life, Susie will not know what to do. She can’t act without Kris and Ralsei tells her he can heal us. Susie gets irritated sayid “you think I can’t dance on my own?!”. And forces Ralsei to dance, and nothing changes much exept once everyone start to dance and your still on the ground

The most fun part is, while everyone dances, you are still out! Spinning around and being completely still
